Yoast SEO plugin will take care of your site’s SEO as well will enable a breadcrumbs option on theme front-end.

Creating Knowledge Base page

  1. Please go to Pages > Add new
  2. On the right-hand side please find the ‘Page Attributes‘ tab and select “Knowledgebase” template
  3. Save/Publish the page
  4. In the main WordPress dashboard go to Settings > Reading
  5. Set ‘Your homepage displays‘ to a ‘static page’
  6. Select the newly created site and update the options.

Adding a few posts

By default your newly created ‘Knowledgebase’ template page will be empty. The reason for that is that the template ignores default WordPress “Uncategorized” category.

Simply create a new category and assign a post/posts to it and you are good to go.
